To make coordination of these moves easier, an official "move day" is set by the Conference.  Four years ago, the Conference launched a new pattern for moves. Childcare Available at November Special Session of the Annual Conference

Childcare for children 6 months through second grade will be available during the November 18 Special Session of Annual Conference. Hosted at Athens First UMC, the childcare is offered at no cost to parents and legal guardians of lay and clergy members of Annual Conference. Childcare for children 6 months through rising kindergarten will be available during Annual Conference 2023, at no cost to member parents and legal guardians. After receiving input from the Annual Conference Planning Committee and Conference Secretary, Bishop Robin Dease has revised the schedule for the 2023 North Georgia Annual Conference to shorten the session by one day.
